Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable each provided moving and nuanced final performances in this western drama.

The Misfits was written by legendary American playwright and author Arthur Miller and directed by veteran Westernn director John Huston.

In the film, Marilyn plays a recent divorcee who falls in with an aging American cowboy (Gable), two younger men (Montgomery Clift, Eli Wallach), and their scheme to capture wild mustangs in scenic Nevada.

If you’re feeling nostalgic for the days of the American Western – and for Marilyn Monroe, join other Savannah Seniors at the Jepson Center on May 15th for “The Misfits”.
