The holiday season offers some pretty wonderful day trips and overnight trips for active Coastal Georgia seniors.
On November 9th, Macon opens their historic Cannonball House for a special “Candlelight Apparitions” event.
The historic home is lit by candlelight, and tours are led by some of Macon’s leading citizens (of the 19th century!).
This event will sell out, so reserve your tickets today.
- Tours will run on the hour beginning at 5:00 p.m. thru 8:00 p.m.
- Admission of $10 per person.
- Make your reservations in advance by calling 478-745-5982.
The Cannonball House is on the national historic register. The home was built in 1853 by a prosperous planter as his town house.
The name was given due to damage the home received during the War Between the States (Civil War).
