Savannah Grandparent’s Guide: Are you the caregiver for your grandchild? Food assistance is available for Savannah children.
More and more Savannah grandparents are raising their grandchildren, part time or full time.
At the same time, our budgets are stretched thin and grocery costs are rising.

One program is “Kids Cafe” through the City of Savannah:
The Savannah Kids Cafe provides food assistance to children across Savannah.
For Savannah grandparents raising or helping to take care of their grandchildren, the program can be a real blessing.
Kids Cafe Savannah provides a nutritious meal to Savannah youth ages 2 – 18 on an ongoing basis at the following locations:
John S. Delaware Center
- Monday – Friday
- 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Moses Jackson Center
- Monday – Friday
- 4 p.m. – 4:30p.m.
Tompkins Center
- Monday – Thursday
- 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- Monday – Thursday
- 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
W.W. Law Center
- Monday – Thursday
- 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Woodville Center
- Monday – Thursday
- 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
