This week’s spotlight “Coastal Empire Senior Resource” is the Rising TYde Community Food Pantry on Tybee Island.

The Rising TYde Community Food Pantry is a food pantry for Tybee Island senior citizens in need of food assistance. The Rising Tyde Community Food Pantry is a true reprensentation of “Tybee people helping Tybee people”.

If you are a Tybee Island senior citizen in need of food assistance, information is available below.

You must be a Tybee resident to be eligible to attend the food pantry. Bring your license or documentation showing you live in Zip code 31328.

The Tybee Island Food Pantry is open to Tybee Island senior citizens:

• The third Tuesday every month
• 10a – 11ap
• 6p-7p
• Location: Tybee Cafeteria at the YMCA

The Rising TYde Community food pantry is a great resource for Tybee Island seniors inneed.

The food pantry is also a meaningful volunteer opportunity for Tybee Island seniors who are interested in finding a way to assist others.
