Davenport House Museum Hosts Entertaining Tours for Savannah Seniors
Savannah Senior Entertainment
Davenport House Museum
For Savannah seniors wanting to feel young, visiting our historic buildings can help us keep a little perspective! Perhaps no building in Savannah offers more history and entertainment for Savannah seniors than the Davenport House Museum.
Glistening by candlelight each evening, the Federal-style home welcomes Coastal Empire Seniors to an experience emphasizing the end-of-year celebrations of early 19th century Savannahians, including the Davenport household, who lived in the fine brick home on Columbia Square.
An evening at Savannah’s Davenport House Museum offers:
- Light refreshments
- music
- skilled interpreters in period costume, who show visitors through the home.
Note: The performance at the Davenport House Museum requires that guests be able to walk up and down stairs and maneuver in the candlelit rooms.
