Savannah Senior Resources – Kids Cafe & 2nd Harvest
One of the requests we’re getting a lot is Senior Citizen Resources including food help for Savannah grandchildren.
Many of our Savannah grandparents are taking care of their grandchildren full time or part time.
This can really stretch our already tight Savannah senior budgets.
No Savannah grandparent ever wants their grandchildren to be hungry.
One great resource is Kids Cafe run by the City of Savannah and 2nd Harvest.
Kids Cafe provides food help for Savannah children and peace of mind for Savannah grandparents.
A nutritious meal is provided to Savannah youth ages 2 – 18 on an ongoing basis at the following Savannah Kids Cafe locations:
John S. Delaware Center
- Monday – Friday
- 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Moses Jackson Center
- Monday – Friday
- 4 p.m. – 4:30p.m.
- Monday – Thursday
- 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Tatemville Center
- Monday – Thursday
- 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
W.W. Law Center
- Monday – Thursday
- 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Woodville Center
- Monday – Thursday
- 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Kids Cafe Savannah can be a wonderful resource for grandparents – and certainly for our Savannah grandchildren.
Whether finances are tight, you’re exhausted, or both, for many Savannah grandparents, knowing Kids Cafe is their for their grandchildren is a real blessing.
